We love and care about the progress of our students. As a result, our students have a true enthusiasm for learning.
Our goal is to help every student own their musicianship and carry this passion through life. Young musicians are proven to become strong and motivated individuals who succeed in any field they choose to pursue as a career.
Music is a language. Like any language, there are many basics that must be mastered before advancing to more dynamic material. During a course of study, we attempt to cover all areas of musicianship: theory, technique, formal analysis, harmony, ear-training, sight-reading, and comprehension of musical literature. We break these concepts down and create paths for easy progression.
No two students are exactly alike, and everyone learns at different speeds, regardless of age. We approach our students as individuals, and challenge them according to their own unique qualities and affinities. Like any discipline, there are times where showing up will be difficult. However, with time and practice, it can be fun and incredibly rewarding to master an instrument and express oneself through music.
