DJ Workshop - “DJ Name Game”

12 - 2 p.m.  for 8-13 year olds

Discover the World of DJing! with Ms. Jenny, also known as SOLFLOWER Music
Join us for a fun and interactive DJ workshop designed just for kids and teens! In this exciting class, young music enthusiasts will:
🎶 Learn the basics of DJing and electronic music.
🎵 Explore the history of DJing and its cultural impact.
🎧 Play with age-appropriate music and learn how to artfully transition between tracks.
✨ Develop creativity while building their own DJ sets.

🔊 Engage in an entertaining "DJ Name Game" to discover a new artistic personality.

💿 Explore the use of music theory in the DJ experience, from understanding song keys to their BPM.

Kids will use the free Rekordbox software, which we will download in class (laptops required), and receive a curated crate of music to practice with during and after the workshop. By the end, they’ll be ready to take home new knowledge & craft musical experiences that will wow their friends and families!
