Evergreen Conservatory seeks to inspire and support the community's growing musicians by instilling the values and structure that are vital to early music education. Our Early Childhood programs emphasize the developmental importance of musical exploration, play, comprehension of musical structures, listening skills, creativity, expression, and most importantly of all--FUN!! Evergreen Conservatory offers various options for early childhood music education that proceed through early age and skill levels, starting with our foundational Kindermusik program. From there, children and their caregivers are encouraged to explore their musical interests and curiosities, whether that be singing, playing percussion instruments, dancing to a steady rhythm, and more.
As the children grow in their abilities and artistic desires, they can then choose from a variety of gateways in which to further traverse their early music education. Currently, we have a multitude of offerings for the developing musician, and the list keeps growing! Are they curious about playing piano and learning to read beginner instrumental music? Then "My First Piano Adventure" is a great option! Do they love to sing, or do they express an additional love for expressing themselves through storytelling & improvisation? Then perhaps they would also love to join our "The Full Voice" class for the young rockstar or Broadway performer! Other listed options for kiddos also include the globally-renowned Suzuki method of teaching for violin, as well as the next level of Piano Adventures for 6-9 year olds, to prepare them for entering the private studio for lessons. Contact us for more information, and we are happy to find the perfect educational match for your child!
